Make Money Online - A How To Guide

I will answer this question with another question. In general, are people on the internet leaders or followers, hard workers or lazy, focused or scatter-brained? I think the answers to these questions are pretty clear. And they offer us some valuable insight into why more people on the internet are not making money. Take a moment to ponder this. In the "real world", who makes the most money? Is it the person that gets up and goes to his/her 9 to 5 job every day, and just accepts the world around him/her? Or, alternatively, is it the person that thinks ahead and works hard to create new opportunities from his/herself?

The problem with the internet is that people seem to think that they should just be able to push a magic button and instantly become rich. This idea is constantly perpetuated by the plethora of late night infomercials promising instant riches with essentially no effort (you know what I'm talking about, the guy that just opens his mail box to find thousands of dollars a day). The real reason you, your mother, and your best friend's sister's aunt's grandma are not making money online is because people are generally LAZY! I don't mean to hurt your feelings with this revelation, but you have to accept this truth if you want to succeed.

Well, the simple answer is that you must be willing to work! I know, that is probably not what you wanted to hear, but it is the truth. So many people online make small efforts to make money online (like starting a blogger blog or doing a google search on how to make money online with Hubpages) and then they sit and look at their site/blog stats. Its as if people think they are entitled to internet money...even if they only spend 5 minutes working. Two important online money making concepts to learn are patience and dedication. Without both of these you will fail, I guarantee it.

So what, precisely, do you need to do to make money online? Well, you need to create niche sites. After you create the site you need to write content for it (it doesn't have to be award winning content). And lastly, you need to build links to your site. Its not like making money is some wildly difficult thing to learn...its just that most people give up so fast they never make anything.

Do You Have What It Takes To Make Money Online?

Unfortunately, the answer to this question might upset you. If you are like 98% of the other people on the internet, then no, you do not have what it takes. Its OK though, you shouldn't feel bad or anything, you are most likely content with the way your life is right now anyway. Its like The Matrix, if you never see what you are missing then you don't actually know you are missing it. However, if you think you fall in that 2% of people that actually have the patience and determination to make money online then I suggest that you stop thinking about it and just do it!
